What is Encapsulated Carpet Cleaning

PCH Equipment Encapsulated cleaning uses a non-toxic food based cleaning solution

As the Oxygen based Cleaning Solution starts to work it is then heated up through the friction of a deep penetrating brush.

Dirt and hair is then extracted through an absorbing pad and vacuum.

Any remaining dirt is captured in a polymer that is vacuumed up after it dries.

Encapsulation uses far less water, about 20% of wet extraction cleaning.

PCH Dry Carpet Cleaning uses a very strong, non-toxic food grade solution that effectively removes stains and dirt that is safe for children, pets and plants but please keep them off the carpet until dry.

No loud machines- My machine is very quiet

No heavy equipment or large hoses dragged throughout your home or business.

What is Dry Carpet cleaning?

A similar process that uses a non-toxic powder that when used with an activator produces a receiving polymer crystal that when worked into the carpet loosens the dirt and captures it within the polymer crystal. Once the dirt is in the polymer it cannot be released. It is quite impressive to witness this product in action. A very, very effective method but time consuming to accomplish.

PCH Dry Carpet Cleaning uses this process in the high traffic areas and for stain treatment.

What is Dry Encapsulation Carpet cleaning?

A combination of both processes. Very labor intensive and provides results second to none.

PCH Dry Carpet Cleaning uses a 3-step extraction process that utilizes both processes and will spend 35-45 minutes per room to get you the best results possible, but at a price less than my Franchise competition. Your Satisfaction is Guaranteed.

How Expensive is Dry Encapsulation cleaning?

PCH Dry Carpet Cleaning uses both Dry and Encapsulation processes for maximum results. My rate competes with any Franchise Professional Dry carpet service, including Amazon Professional Services!

Google search; Amazon item B00UBX9M1O Get a quote and I will match or beat the Amazon price and services.

Franchise Companies that offer Encapsulation cleaning average between $45-$65 per room with stain treatment. (HomeWyse.com) Compare that to a Franchise Company that uses water based extraction cleaning at $30-$45 per room after using their coupon.

I meet or beat both processes on price! Ask for a Quote

Dry cleaning for about the same price as extraction cleaning, you win!

Is Dry Encapsulation toxic or harmful to pets and children?

PCH Dry Carpet Cleaning uses only non-toxic cleaning products and stain removers, safe for children, pets and plants with a max Health and Respiratory rating of “1-Slight”; (see rating system below) the same health rating as common household cleaners like 409 Multi-Surface cleaner™ and Lysol Disinfectant Spray™. As with any Carpet Cleaning, keep pets off the carpets until dry.

If you use common household cleaners, you can use me. As with any vaporized household cleaner, use proper ventilation. I work with this product every day and I do not use a mask or gloves or have any issues. That said, persons with extra sensitive lungs may want to use more ventilation or stay in another room until process is completed.

Standard Health Risk ratings are below and MSDS sheets can be found on the website.

This is the Health rating system

  • 0=Least
  • 1=Slight
  • 2=Moderate
  • 3=High
  • 4=Extreme

I only use 0-1 Health and Respiratory rated products. Be sure to ask whomever you choose to do your carpet cleaning to provide the same information.

What about allergies?

PCH Carpet Dry Encapsulation cleaning is hypo-allergenic. You may experience dusty shoes and powder under area rugs until you vacuum up the residue left from the crystals.

Does the process remove odors?

Yes, pet odors, food odors are all treated and removed. Some pet odors will penetrate the padding of the carpet and may take multiple treatments but they can be removed.

PCH Dry Carpet Cleaning includes stain and odor treatment with each service.

Be sure to check: Some Carpet Cleaning services that give low initial bids will charge you extra for stain and odor removal.

Is the process noisy?

No, This process is quiet enough to hear the phone ring and talk without raising your voice. I have cleaned carpets for offices during their work day and cleaned carpets while the kids were napping in a day care. I even cleaned carpets while a group had their weekly Bridge game and they all could hear themselves over the machine I use, and every customer seems to comment on how quiet my machine is.

Is Dry Encapsulation considered GREEN?

Yes, GREEN is any product listed as environmentally safe to use. Most people have incorrectly redefined GREEN as all-natural products and that can lead to disappointment either in results or finding out chemicals are used in the product. As an example, Simple Green™ is a GREEN environmentally safe product but is not all natural.

Yes, the products I use are considered GREEN, non-toxic, safe for children and pets, but keep them off the carpets until they are dry. No, they are not all natural. They include chemicals that evaporate to create the crystals that capture the dirt.

Is Dry Encapsulation cleaning better for my carpets?

Encapsulation does not leave soapy or chemical residue that attracts dirt.

Encapsulation does not penetrate through the pad with liquid that can result in mold and mildew,

The powder may penetrate the pad but creates a hypo-allergenic barrier against mold and mildew.

NOTE for Area Rugs: the powder may be seen under area rugs for some time. Area rugs can be taken outside and beaten to remove excess powder

Encapsulation cleaned carpets stay clean longer and get easier to maintain with each cleaning

How long does Dry Encapsulation take to dry?

Encapsulation system will be dry to the touch in 1-4 hours, stain treated areas will take a little longer.

I recommend vacuuming 24 hours after carpets are cleaned.

How long will my carpet cleaning take?

Check around, you will rarely find a company that will use both Dry powder and encapsulation due to the cost. Most Companies will only spend 5-10 minutes of actual cleaning per room, or about 1-1.5 hours to complete a 4-5 room cleaning.

PCH Dry Carpet Cleaning takes as much time as necessary to do the best job possible. I usually spend 35-45 minutes per room on my exclusive 3-step process, 2.5-3 hours on 4-5 room cleaning.

Do I have to wait all day for you to arrive?

No, I provide 1-2 hour appointment windows, your life is as busy as mine. Compare that as well.

Why choose PCH Carpet Cleaning?

Because I am a single operator, not subject to budgets and time limits. I will do the best possible job and spend all the time that is needed to make sure the job is done correctly. I use only non-toxic, environmentally safe cleaners, the best enzyme stain removers and provide a 30-day Satisfaction guaranty. Referrals upon request.

The best part, I do it for less than a Franchise Company that provides Dry or Encapsulation Cleaning, check for yourself!

Call me at (858) 761-4183 if you have more questions or want the phone number to any of my Competition to compare pricing.
